The name "Illuminati" is defined at brittanica.com as "designation in use from the 15th century, assumed by or applied to various groups of persons who claimed to be unusually enlightened.  The word is the plural of the Latin illuminatus ('revealed' or 'enlightened')."  A Vox article by Phil Edwards reports about the so-called Illuminati:

 

In a historical sense, the term "Illuminati" refers to the Bavarian Illuminati, a secret society that operated for only a decade, from 1776 to 1785.  This organization was founded by Adam Weishaupt, a German law professor who believed strongly in Enlightenment ideals, and his lluminatenorden sought to promote those ideals among elites.  Weishaupt wanted to educate Illuminati members in reason, philanthropy, and other secular values so that they could influence political decisions when they came to power . . .  Illuminati members joined Freemason lodges to recruit members for their own competing secret society.

 
Conspiracy theories have always been popular in the United States, but for centuries, the Illuminati were less feared than the Freemasons.  The 1828 Anti-Masonic Party was based on an opposition to the Freemasons, and though the party died out, Freemasons remained a focal point for paranoia in America.

 
To some degree, Freemason paranoia grew out of the Freemasons' influence in the United States.  Many Founding Fathers were members, after all.  And some key American symbols may have been derived from the Freemasons: There's a strong argument that the floating eye on the dollar, the Eye of Providence above a pyramid, comes from Freemasonry.  (There's also an argument that it was meant as a Christian symbol; the only thing we know for certain is that it has nothing to do with the Bavarian Illuminati.)

In a broader sense, rumors about the Illuminati and celebrities speak to their place in our culture.  [Author Mark A.] Fenster sees the half-ironic, half-serious accusations of Illuminati membership as the latest expression of an old American phenomenon.  "It marks that Jay Z and Beyoncé seem to live in a different universe than us," he says. 

In 2024 while the advantages of becoming metaphysically and spiritually enlightened doesn't seem to be considered relevant when one appraises the news and information content made available through commercial media, the topic of 'Illuminati' is reflected in the YouTube video "Top 10 Celebrities That are Supposedly in the Illuminati," which has accumulated 8.4 million views.  "Kanye West Confirms Beyonce Is Controlled By Illuminati" has accumulated more than 700,000 while "The Church Service that Worships Beyonce" (VICE Life video) shows a total of 686,000 views with perspectives being shared having derived from the singer's use of religious symbolism throughout her music and performances.  The same observation can be made about many famous Pop culture artists. 

 

This blogger's own use of the all-seeing eye imagery for the initial online edition of his 'paranormal initiation' nonfiction case study TESTAMENT was a spontaneous decision in 1997.  Thereafter, one reader contacted me after having incorrectly concluded that I was a 'fellow traveler' (Freemason).  The book chronicles what happened to me in 1995 upon embarking on an expedition to rural Oklahoma to interview a family experiencing 'talking poltergeist' phenomena that included apparent 'alien' voices.  During one of the interviews, this is what I was told by the family member around whom the phenomena seemed to occur most often —

Twyla: Once he told Mama he was going to show itself.  He said, "COME ROLL YOUR BLANKET BACK AND I’LL SHOW YOU MYSELF."  It looked like there was a body laying there and she pulled the blanket back.  There was a mask there.  [to Billy Joe]  Wasn't it a Halloween mask that you found after Michael [the most prominent manifesting unseen entity] told you to pull back the blanket to see what was there?  He said "HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA."  (Tape #5, Side #2)

After returning home to Los Angeles, the gamut of continuing phenomenal manifestations included the materialization of coins and my television coming on and then going off to bring me brief 'messages' — such as a commercial with a commentator's voiceover saying "Love is the only religion."  Sometimes when I conversed with other people it became obvious that they were being 'overshadowed' because there were correlations between spontaneous comments of various individuals who interacted with me, often with observations that seemed unusually astute.  For example, when O.J. Simpson was found not guilty of murder that year a succession of  strangers all spontaneously said to me that they 'just didn't want there to be riots.'  After many predicaments such as this, I considered, 'Where do our thoughts come from?' and realized that everyone of us must interact with some omnipresent ultimate thought Source.  (My own path in life converged with the paths of O.J. and Nicole Brown when I was employed as a Paramount Pictures publicity writer during the years when "The Naked Gun" trilogy of movies were released.) 

The essential moment of realization about what was recognized to be happening with me upon returning home from my 'talking poltergeist' research expedition is chronicled in one blog article as — I now was able to distinguish the relevance of the term Holy Ghost/Holy Spirit in signifying the omnipresent Spiritual Force (or Christ Force) manifesting the Divine Will of God.  I decided that the mysterious 'Michael' could only be an aspect of the enigmatic Archangel Whose manifestations had inspired diverse cultural permutations throughout the ages.

 

 

The TESTAMENT photo of a message left in bird gravel at the home I visited where 'talking poltergeist phenomena' was occurring in Oklahoma was the first time that I noticed instances of the letter 'M' manifesting in a portentous way.  In addition to discovering that patterns of the names 'Michael' and 'Bell' interlink documented cases of paranormal phenomena throughout the ages, the letter 'M' also was noticed throughout popular entertainment culture.  Examples of 'The M Pattern' include album art for "Pop Muzik", a 1979 song by M; the logo for MTV, a channel that popularized music videos beginning in 1981; the Barry Manilow 1976 hit "I Write the Songs"; and Meg Myers performed a new version of the Kate Bush song "Running Up That Hill" in 2019.

 

One of the influences leading to entertainment dominating people's activity is the rejection of the Divine Dispensations made discernible through a variety of paranormal phenomena manifested throughout the world during the epoch of Spiritualism and evolved to the forms of authentic 'deep trance,' 'overshadowing' or 'total takeover' channeling occurring today in extensively documented case chronologies.   Fear of unknown powers superseded intelligent investigation.  As innate human creativity became exalted in the popular culture, people became enthralled with movies, television shows, plays, novels, computer games, sports and the music industry.  The shared Superconscious Mind therefore must give lessons in oblique ways through contemporary entertainment media.

 

When I began maintaining a new 'journal blog' the first month in 2021, I noted "I've decided to refer to my angelic guide/Guide in Oneness as 'M' to make it easy for readers to differentiate.  My identical twin brother when mentioned will be as Mike."  The 'angelic guide' is meant to convey how the Source/spiritual Oneness manifests at any one moment through a particular 'personality'/'unit' existing in the ascended realm of being.  I find during my daily path in life, the Michael pattern recurs to an astonishing degree.  Examples include my first major entertainment industry job as Mickey Rooney's assistant working at the Ruth Webb Agency (where I became a franchised talent agent myself) and upon making the career change to publicist employed at Paramount Pictures there were seven people named Michael among the marketing staff alone.  Even the company director who'd handled my offer of employment had been named Michael (among many other Michaels throughout the studio; one whom I recall once having interviewed via phone was Lorne Michaels).  (article)

 

As documented in TESTAMENT, one of my psychic psychiatrist's recommendations during a therapy session was for me to begin attending the Sunday morning lectures at the Philosophical Research Society located a few miles from where I was residing.  I learned that the organization had been founded by Manly Palmer Hall (1901-1990), known to have become a 33° Mason in 1973.  Upon reading his book The Lost Keys of Freemasonry (1923; revised and enlarged edition 1976), I learned that Manly first became a member of the Masonic Order in 1954.  Manly wrote in his introductory preface to the 1976 PRS edition of the 1656 Laws of the Fraternity of the Rosie Cross (Themis Aurea) by Michael Maier:

The book includes a curious anagram which Maier presents as the hand seal of the Brothers of R.C., and he recommends that ingenious persons should examine and interpret this device.  It is obvious that the arrangement of letters can spell out ROSIE CROSS by the repetition of the same "S."  In the midst of them is a large capital "M," which reminds the thoughtful reader that when the tomb of Christian Rosenkreuz was opened the mysterious book "M" was found therein.  This large initial suggests one of the plates designed by Johannes Gichtel as a frontispiece for Jacob Boehme's Mysterium Magnum.  According to his text the three "M's" stand for Moses, Messiah and Mysterium Magnum.

The original title of Manly Hall's most famous book when published in 1928 is An Encyclopedic Outline of Masonic, Hermetic, Qabbalistic and Rosicrucian Symbolical Philosophy: Being an Interpretation of the Secret Teachings Concealed within the Rituals, Allegories, and Mysteries of All Ages.

 

 

Manly as editor of the PRS Journal contributed a 50 year retrospective article in the Autumn 1970 Golden Jubilee edition.  Here are some excerpts —

 

The early Buddhists were much concerned with the mystery of communication.  This was true especially in the early centuries of the Mahayana Doctrine.  The ideal human being was the Bodhisattva, whose ministry was one of compassionate communiication.  By extension, Bodhi, or eternal mind, is the great communicator, and all existence receives the messages of the One Supreme Consciousness.  Each creature in turn must share this knowledge with its progeny.  There must be as many forms of communication as there are kinds of living beings.  The language of the bird is not the same as that of the fish.  Yet each is an embodiment of communication.  Through countless evolving structures infinite wisdom reveals itself for the benefit of created beings. 

 

 

[During the 1930s]  It was the responsibility of the human being not only to explore the mysteries of space, but to discover the integrity which maintained the harmony of the world.

 

It seemed important to inspire persons deeply troubled with the burdens and anxieties of a serious economic depression with the realization that Divine Power still ruled the world and that it was up to mortals to develop the insight necessary to correct their own mistakes.  It was not a popular message, but those who recognized the facts were able to preserve their faith in the Divine Plan.

 

 

We are here to outgrow our own limitations and to dedicate our resources to the service of the eternal power that fashioned us.

Growth is achieved by discipline.  The individual who constructively directs his own life practices his religion and demonstrates his philosophy.  Happiness is a byproduct of personal integrity.

The letter 'M' is also a key aspect in the case chronology of Madame Blavatsky (1831-1891), around whom materialized letters from 'Masters of Wisdom' (1, 2) — personages representing a 'Universal Brotherhood' who had advanced beyond the limits of the physical earthly plane during the process of cosmic evolution.  One blog article mentions other 'M' correlations I've noticed, such as the Edward Witten "M-Theory".

 

While Manly P. Hall wrote that he "was not interested in promulgating an original revelation," some of the insights he offered were a corroboration of the knowledge I'd gained from my 'paranormal initiation.'  Previous blog articles about Hall and the PRS include "The Ancient Mystery Teachings Divulged" and "An Esoteric 'Mystery School' of the 1990s".  The latter article includes this observation — Becoming familiar with some of Manly P. Hall's writings, I realized that my initiatory experiences were different than his.  In comparison to Manly who became a Mason, there was no need for me to join any secret society to expand my spiritual knowledge.  There should never be any secrecy in relation to spiritual knowledge.

 

Secrecy among people who recognize and comprehend evidence of The God Force is one of the reasons for widespread ignorance and misunderstandings about what can be known about conditions impacting each human being's intellect and emotions.  Recent articles at this blog specify the exact metaphysical, spiritual and cosmological knowledge that is either not known or is not reported in mainstream news outlets due to bureaucratic regulation in addition to the impediments created by erroneous social consciousness estimations about what data is presumed as being merely subject to individual 'belief' with stark evidence proving otherwise being simply ignored or dismissed as inconceivable or impossible.

 

After the wife of psychic and channeler Andrew Jackson Davis (1826-1910) passed over to her next 'sphere of existence' in 1853, he published accounts of her visits during intervals when he was in an altered state of consciousness.  She described her life in the new 'Spirit Home,' attesting:

 

Seeing the FATHER as I now do, I must worship Him in Love. . . . In spirit and in truth I must worship Him!

Something now considered evident by this blogger is how all benevolent inspiration deriving from the Source Consciousness upon being manifested in the physical world becomes a facet of the life experiences comprising the totality of that individual human 'personality' or 'identity' serving as embodiment and unit/iota of 'The Only One' with a cosmically unique vantage point and progression.     

 

Regarding human activities on Earth, transcendental communication sources bring the realization of 'everyone's higher selves eternally coexistent in a state of spiritual Oneness' with our physical plane an opportunity to create an identity through accomplishing things either 'good' or 'bad.'  That same year of 1995, one of the top Pop songs was "One of Us" performed by Joan Osborne.  Reflecting about my experiences as a USC cinema major, professional talent agency and then movie studio publicity writer, it became obvious that what people consider to be someone's 'talent' is actually the stylistic aspects being manifested through that person's 'conscious creativity.'  As previously mentioned — Perhaps people should take a clue from George Lucas having selected other directors to helm many of his film productions.  Directors contribute a combination of distinguishing stylistic ingredients to each of their projects.  The dimensions of this aspect of filmed narrative entertainment is more uncanny than casual observers of entertainment may realize prior to contemplating the meaning of all this.  (articles: 1, 2)

 

A TV show that intrigued me when I learned about it years ago is the 2003-2005 series "Joan of Arcadia," described at imdb.com as "A teenage girl is visited by God, disguised as everyday people, and is given assignments and tasks that eventually have a positive outcome on people's lives."

 

Recalling that life-changing summer of 1995 following my Oklahoma trip, at my home in Echo Park across from the landmark Angelus Temple I considered the potential reasons for all these previously unimaginable 'paranormal' things happening to me upon my having completed a manuscript for a book about talking poltergeist cases throughout the ages.  Having been working as a publicity writer for Paramount in recent years, one of my assignments had been the movie "Dead Again" dealing with reincarnation and it seemed to me that the astonishing occurrences could only relate in uncertain ways to a previous incarnation.

 

 

A new bizarre sequence of experiences occurred when my twin brother and two friends became concerned about my welfare.  I was staying up late working on the book and they mutually decided to instigate what they regarded to be an intervention.  (article)  The three of them came to my condo one Sunday accompanied by a social worker as an ambulance pulled up in front of the complex.  The apprehensive social worker informed me that the ambulance was a necessary procedure for bringing me to the hospital.  I considered the possibilities involved with finding myself in such an unexpected predicament after all the recent tumultuous occurrences in my life and decided to submit to the compulsion felt by my brother and friends.

 

Upon reaching the facility I willingly signed the paperwork given me, using my newly accepted pen name of 'Mark Russell Bell.'  The moniker had been communicated to me by another of my friends, Marie, with whom I'd discussed the possibility of having a pen name just prior to her becoming astonished to hear the name clairaudiently announced to her while she was walking down Sunset Boulevard.  (Events in Oklahoma and thereafter are profiled in blog articles: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5.)

 

One hospital document that I didn't sign pertained to my being in agreement for being responsible for any hospital costs not covered by my healthcare plan because the social worker had assured me that everything would be covered in full.  (I later discovered that not only had the office worker processing the intake paperwork not noticed I hadn't signed that page but also the social worker had lied to me when I'd asked him about the costs, leaving the facility and ambulance company with a financial loss.)  I didn't realize at first where the 'intervention' had taken me.  It soon became known to me that I was under lockdown at a psychiatric hospital Intensive Care Unit.  A bizarre ordeal then commenced for me at the hospital as I witnessed new acquaintances interact with me in phenomenally strange ways.  As the hospital staff also observed, some of the other 'patients' suddenly entered into a trance state to 'channel' messages.  Eventually as it so transpired, a young woman who was another one of the patients informed me that she was an experienced 'channeler' and was happy to be of assistance.  (article)

 

Fortunately, I was released a few days later on the condition that I would begin participating in psychotherapy sessions with a local psychiatrist experienced in dealing with psychic phenomena cases.  By that time, it seemed that the hospital staff had become eager for me to leave the facility.  Throughout the following years, the phenomena occurring in proximity to me has continued with some unusual alterations or 'phases' of interaction.  For example, while transcribing my microcassette recordings to publish in TESTAMENT and in the follow-up online sequel book, there were constant EVP experiences.  As an example of these incidents, I remember there were two instances when a message instructed to "GIVE SHERRY [spelled phonetically] THE BOOK."  As chronicled in TESTAMENT, this led to myself providing a copy of the manuscript draft for Sherry Lansing, who was the chairman of  Paramount at the time (after I'd contributed to the success of her movies "Fatal Attraction," "The Accused," "Black Rain," "School Ties" and "Indecent Proposal"); and later I also interacted with Sherri Spillane, who became a staff member at Ruth Webb Enterprises prior to my decision to leave behind my talent agent position.

After I left the successful and respected agency, Sherri Spillane and Ruth Webb became 'scandal queens,' specializing in representing people whose names became known to the public after being involved in scandals.  (1, 2, 3)

 

Considering all that may be learned from the data reported in 725+ articles at this blog (incl. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5), the metaphysically enlightened person can only conclude that in 2024 there are no organized groups that are manifestly functioning in a way that would qualify them to fulfill the definition of 'Illuminati' in 2024 through having a meaningful impact on dissipating materialism and military tactics aimed at fostering supremacy for any solitary paperwork principality.

Beyond countless people culturally conditioned to give their attention to entertainment pastimes instead of engaging in self-development and contemplation involving metaphysical, spiritual and cosmological aspects of life, other grim conditions throughout the world encompass ever-increasing national war and military expenditures instead of money being used to alleviate the challenges posed by a deteriorating planetary ecosystem (including plastic pollution, forest fires of ever-increasing severity, melting ice caps and 'red tide' events), a decrease in most people's standard of living due to inflation with the resultant social impacts, encompassing poverty, immigration and crime; and the ongoing pandemic where people are now known to have been treated with vaccines that didn't vaccinate while altering one's metabolism, at times leading to illnesses and loss of life.

The headline of a recent The Telegraph article referring to "hidden forces" is a quotation of movie director Neil Jordan about the actor he selected to star in "Interview with the Vampire," Tom Cruise.  The 100+ movies that I was responsible for writing the press kit production information included the Tom Cruise movies "Days of Thunder" and "The Firm"; a film with the element of voyeurism, "Sliver"; another vampire movie, "Vampire in Brooklyn"; and Neil Jordan's "We're No Angels."  I included a transcript of my own interview with the director in TESTAMENT (Tape A, Side #1) and commented to him about the fact that the producer had selected him for the project, "It’s almost like a touch of the divine."

 

At the time of the interview in 1989, I considered myself an 'Agnostic' (believing the nature of God was unknowable during Earth life).  Now also finding it ironic that another one of my assignments was the comedy movie "Clueless" (1995), I remember that upon engaging in my usual task of transferring the document from my computer to the studio computer via diskette this became a shocking ordeal when some unknown 'glitch' repeatedly rendered this impossible.  Within a matter of weeks after that incident, the 'paranormal initiation' was experienced in my life that left me no longer 'clueless' about the nature of mortal existence on the Earth plane.  (article)

In a 2022 blog article about 'Cancel Culture,' I commented — The recent developments in the life and career of Kanye 'Ye' West suggest that he may have realized that excessive personal materialistic self-benefit conflicts with blatant Christian spiritual values and therefore he has set out on his current mission.  Spiritual values and metaphysical understanding may inspire an individual personality to manifest in various ways altruistic concerns of The God Force to demonstrate individual human personal responsibility to others and arouse awareness of intellectual, emotional, cultural and social issues involving one's perceived 'ego-self' amidst society.  Furthermore, how you decide to react in relation to acting upon (or not) the thoughts entering your mind from your 'Higher Self' in a state of spiritual Oneness will determine aspects of your experiencing Earth life.  The time one devotes to 'entertainment' can consist of what might be compared to 'computerized programming' on a superficial level of consciousness that will probably not expand one's metaphysical and spiritual development and awareness of The God Force — a primary purpose for the present incarnation. Perhaps the most blatant metaphor of 'the all-seeing eye' in a movie storyline may be noticed with the movie "Sliver," as described in a previous blog article that includes a portion entitled ★ Some Steps to Expanded Consciousness ★. 

 

 

In the previous blog article "Ten Film Clips from Paramount Movies" I wrote — This article presents film clips from some of the fictitious narrative movies released during my years employed as a Paramount Pictures publicity department staff writer between 1987 and 1995 in Hollywood.  Diverse aspects of the human predicament are reflected in storylines that included occurrences sometimes categorized as 'paranormal phenomena.'  The popular escapism of movies, TV shows, pop music, computer games, etc., has long afforded traditional pastimes for people culturally oriented to seeking entertainment.  The moral and paranormal themes in entertainment sources may encourage people to develop their spiritual and metaphysical understanding through learning about documented accounts of transcendental experiences.

During the years that I worked with agent Ruth Webb, I witnessed the challenges of someone close to me becoming ill and being diagnosed as "bipolar"/"manic-depressive."  Today on the earthly plane of human activity, paperwork principalities in their functioning and interaction are collectively manifesting "bipolar" and "psychotic" traits.

A momentous discovery for me was learning about 'Bel-Marduk.'  What little is known today about this ancient god-king-priest presented parallels with my contemporary life.  (articles include 1, 2, 3)  Zecharia Sitchin's overview interpretation of an ancient human 'Marduk' in his 2009 Guide book The Earth Chronicles Handbook mentions about him: ". . . he took up the struggle for supremacy of which, he believed, his [omnipresent?] father was unjustly deprived . . . his attempts . . . led to such incidents as that of the 'Tower of Babel,' brutal warfare, and the climactic use of nuclear weapons on Earth."

For more than two years this blogger has been campaigning to make people aware of the urgency for worldwide 'leaders' returning to engaging in spiritually aware diplomacy and for all citizens to express themselves to stop the government officials representing them from opting to carry out deluded military agendas due to indoctrinated governmental traditions that they estimate will enhance their personal prestige.  As mentioned in another recent blog article — readers of this blog should recognize the importance of becoming more personally involved in sharing this array of evidentiary information found in the hundreds of articles at this blog.  If myself, you and all metaphysically knowledgeable people don't dedicate ourselves to saving the multipolar world today where military thinking now is leading national bureaucracies worldwide, then who will?

Note:  Today this blogger's feeling about contemporary society is that upon considering reasons for countless humans today being left ignorant about metaphysical and spiritual aspects of life and therefore engaging in actions that place them at war with 'God' / their 'I AM Presence,' the current scope of the mainstream media amounts to providing a degrading experience conducive to depression and loss of hope and forbearance with suicide and psychosis sometimes being the result — as reflected with the content of news headlines being offered.  Now in my older years, when I consider the meaningless absurdities of so much of the 'entertainment' that I was culturally programmed to accept from the earliest years in life, my putting an end to moviegoing and watching TV during the months following my 'expansion of consciousness' in August 1995 has made my ego-self one that is more acceptable.  I'm certain that the experience of interacting with the universe will change for anyone who is able to think beyond culturally programmed social consciousness orientations and place in perspective what may be learned and understood about earthly life.  This is the purpose of the articles at this blog.
