Among people having accomplished some degree of self-development in relation to metaphysical and spiritual enlightenment surpassing mere beliefs, I've observed the emotions that arise when an individual finally begins to consider and contemplate the uselessness of all previous entertainment pastimes.  I can only impress upon others the importance of sharing this insight so that all may begin considering this perspective as soon as possible and, hopefully, begin developing a perspective regarding the factors involved with this predicament.

 

Shown below are some of the shocking statistics about the now-traditional cultural conditioning of human mentalities today to engage in entertainment while remaining ignorant about the variety of evidentiary consciousness expanding subjects profiled at this blog.
 

  

As mentioned a previous blog article — The article by Stephanie Vazza "How Giving Up TV For A Month Changed My Brain And My Life" includes commentary from a neurosurgeon who cited adverse effects of watching television while university film studies professor Wheeler Winston Dixon is quoted: "TV increasingly traffics in violent programming to keep the viewer in a state of constant fear.  TV also acts as a pacifier, a sort of virtual escape, but it is one that never satisfies, and only leaves the viewer wanting more of the same emptiness."  Consider habitual entertainment activities in relation to the concept of the psychological conditions sometimes expressed with the term 'Stockholm Syndrome.'

 

This year I distributed a news release with the headline "Evidence of 'Extraterrestrial' Life Is Being Identified for a 13th Year By Blogger Mark Russell Bell."  Tens of thousands of people have read my reporting about this particular UFOlogy case chronology and I've directly made the availability of the article known to numerous UFOlogists, study team members, podcast hosts, and so on; however, the facts about this proof aren't being publicly shared by anyone else.  (Regarding the suppression of this information, I can only imagine what is any other person's perception about the choice made about which purposes/polarity to support and dedicate oneself.)  A link to the article is featured below.

Today, it is common for young people on social media to observe trending videos featuring their peers lasciviously twerking their bodies or engaging in violent and/or criminal behavior.  In one video this blogger saw featured at X.com, one young woman is performing (shown below) while a swaggering rapper vocalizes lewd lyrics in tempo to blaring percussive noises.  Other videos show young women going to nightclubs wearing barely-there outfits, perhaps imitating what has been seen worn by celebrities during publicity appearances.  One X commentator offers comparisons about "What Women Think Men Want" and "What Men Actually Want."  Some young people are noticeably following the example of peers who've engaged in crude slang words and profanities.  Some news videos have shown groups of eager youths with masked faces in stores smashing and grabbing to steal the pricey designer brand items otherwise beyond what they can afford.  These people are revealing through these actions that they know nothing about the nature of the ego-self regarding self-esteem and one's eternal relationship with the Higher Self.

 

Also readily accessible are social media videos documenting murderous altercations between students or other young people as well as between students and teachers.  There are seen police encounters, cell phone thefts, road rage encounters, and a variety of other unfortunate conflicts.  One can only wonder what impressions are being made on impressionable young mentalities, who may later mindlessly emulate the behavior seen.  At X people in other countries express anti-American and anti-Israel viewpoints in response to all that has been happening throughout the world.

 

The current longtime No. 1 song is "A Bar Song (Tipsy)" by Shaboozey.  In relation to artistic expression, each human being can be considered a 'channel' with conscious creativity expressing interaction with the Divine Mind.  Previous blog articles about Pop culture include "Pop Culture as a Source of Metaphysical Reflection".  In comparison are three Pop songs featuring metaphysical associations recalled from my youth: "Nights in White Satin" (The Moody Blues 1967), "Within You Without You" (The Beatles 1967) and "One" ("A Chorus Line" soundtrack 1975).

 

 

It seems that numerous young people today haven't yet discerned the importance of continuously identifying goals and actions that will enable one to gain lasting peace of mind; instead, they may spontaneously react to and/or imitate whatever is being seen to take place around themselves.  Most of these young people haven't had access to any information about metaphysical, spiritual and cosmological aspects of the eternal nature of life.  Keep in mind that all of the data and evidence presented in the 725+ articles at this noncommercial blog was available to me through research or from personal experiences, eventually culminating with knowledge of the omnipresent interacting 'All That Is.'

This year Presidential election year political headlines have failed to meaningfully address genocide, military-industrial agendas and candidates' records of complicity while political figures with a record of having avoided war tactics through successful diplomacy are denigrated and repudiated.  The focus instead is upon continuous repetition of vague rhetoric about patriotism, democracy and ending hate speech (encompassing whatever perspectives may eventually be decided as being signified by the term as authorized by some governmental authority).

 

To warn simplistically about threats to 'democracy' seems a totalitarian tactic.  Propaganda tactics have become institutionalized because this has long been established to be effective among a large segment of the public.  The obvious distinction of posts at X.com is that both sides of any issue are made available when one conducts a search regarding a precise topic.  Something that unnerved me this year is that women's alternatives of 'safe sex' and celibacy were never once found even mentioned throughout the continuous debates concerning abortion that have been prolifically reported throughout the news media.

The current estimated human population on planet Earth is 8.2 billion people; however, nuclear war—a prominent recurring mainstream news media topic this year—would have a considerable impact on this number.  An obvious conclusion for contemporary people to realize is that becoming a national 'leader' or 'official' for citizens residing within the borders of a particular 'paperwork principality' noticeably effects their egos, bringing conceit about illusionary 'power' and the advantages of gaining national entitlements through military-industry complex indoctrination — despite the destruction of the lives of other human beings worldwide.   Officials convinced of their personal grandiosity haven't yet learned that '"The problem of war will sooner or later teach you that when you kill another man, basically you will end up killing yourself."  (article)  Also not comprehended by them is that a spiritually aware individual realizes that if any exercise of power, influence or authority has a negative result upon the lives of other people then the perceived "power" is a misconception and wielding such "power" will be detrimental in relation to one's own 'karma.'

Today the institutionalized religions are no longer viewed by many as capable of offering consolation.  Due to the resultant misconceptions about the nature of life in relation to perceived social consciousness orientations, spirituality and God are often deemed as exclusionary topics among journalists and therefore aren't relevant.  What most people have never considered is how the subjects being reported about at this blog have been ignored, misunderstood or suppressed from public consideration for decades.  Because preference is given to sponsored and commercial websites offering atheist and/or agnostic orientations, search engines no longer favor among search results the 725+ articles available at this noncommercial Metaphysical Articles blog.

 

As vast information and data is now readily available to an individual on the Internet, the predicament of someone allowing oneself to engage in a lifetime preoccupied by passive entertainment relaxation makes identifiable a context pertaining to individual progression that may have been impossible for one to conceptualize during earlier epochs.  Consider these perspectives relating to the shocking reality of human society today (as mentioned in recent articles) —

Consider all that could have been accomplished if leaders throughout the world didn't assign such extreme amounts of money for military use with an impact on international trade so that instead there could be funding utilized to help less fortunate citizens and alleviate ecological challenges.  The time one devotes to 'entertainment' and 'infotainment' can consist of what might be compared to 'computerized programming' keeping people at a superficial level of consciousness.

 

 

As consistent readers of this blog may be aware, it is only during the most recent years that I've realized how regrettable and psychically damaging is the pastime of devoting one's attention to inconsequential, essentially useless movies, TV shows, computer games, etc.  Now in my older years, it is disturbing when some inane movie or TV show content or Pop song lyrics experienced during my youth suddenly come into my mind.  This can happen to someone at any moment.  While growing up, TV commercials for products were made to be ridiculous and therefore as memorable as possible to engender name brand recognition.  The awareness of this plight is ameliorated to a certain extent by myself having stopped watching TV shows and narrative movies upon becoming a metaphysical author in 1997.  (article)

Pop songs and concerts are the contemporary versions of age-old human activities and rituals encompassing musical instruments, drums and the trance yet today countless people are ignorant about the creative Source Consciousness interlinking all living things.

Something that becomes more keenly evident as a tragedy almost beyond comparison in relation to human values in society is the effects of 'entertainment trance.'  Although I ceased devoting time to engaging in narrative entertainment more than 25 years ago,  the awareness grows about how rankling are the myriad details from entertainment media that linger in my mind as far back as my early childhood, including cartoons, TV commercials, sitcoms, comic books, and on and on.  During the 1980s through 1995 I became acquainted with TV and movie 'stars' as a talent agent and movie publicist, whose personal lives often made astonishingly clear the inanity of celebrity in relation to their human predicaments in life.
 
After publishing 725+ articles at this blog, something that staggers this blogger's mind is what seems to be the passive response among nearly all readers to the gamut of data being provided.  This information and evidence is intended to be shared and made known to as many people as possible so that all have the opportunity to expand their understanding about what can be known about metaphysical, spiritual and cosmological aspects of life — these are primary reasons that each one of us are having this Earth plane experience as can be learned from making sense from the correlating information profiled in blog articles.
 
The fact that readers evidently haven't involved themselves in making known the data to others suggests an engagement in life experience that perhaps can be compared to as 'sleepwalking through life' or aimlessly seeking novelties as momentary diversions; or in fact a reader remaining the 'programmed' reactor to influences that are aimed at corporate commercial remuneration and keeping people reliant on a regulated mainstream media whereby people whose consciousness has been similarly 'programmed' garner some measure of perceived financial advantage.  (article)

 

 

Considering the ego-self and one's personal choice between commercial media pastimes or devoting time to self-development for expanded consciousness, the older I get the more noticeable it becomes regarding the devastating consequences of the amount of time passed in my own life when I was subject to superficial entertainment.  The memories of asinine childhood cartoons, insipid TV programs with crude commercials, and narrative melodramas offering an escape from reality is now augmented by the realization that I hadn't yet begun to meaningfully comprehend that reality.  Even more hauntingly, I find some of the insipid moments of these entertainment experiences returning to my memory at odd moments and I'm aware this is common among the life experiences of aging older people.  Now I know that narrative entertainment is a complete waste of one's time.
 
Confronted with the opportunity to report about data and evidence relating to aspects of life relating to 'God' and events that can only be considered as epochal, journalists face the quandary of themselves serving in a corporate constituency where any unaccustomed information is perceived as potentially conflicting with perceived consensus beliefs and therefore potentially provoking disapproval among an indoctrinated public.
 
For example, consider what sports programming contributes to a person's situation in life.  The fact that a team's fans have been known to rampage even when some title is achieved reveals some degree of awareness of the futility being experienced.  Compare this rationale to search engine results.

 

Now blogging for a 16th year, I can't have any certainty about how many people instead of examining the evidence and reading the articles, are merely skimming through the images and text seeking only momentary sensations and impressions.  "I don't like to read" seems to be an anthem for contemporary people habitually engaging in entertainment pastimes, regardless of the blatant absurdities of what is being allowed to enter their minds.  Memories of absurdity are being created and will always take the place of more genuine life experiences and emotional orientations.

 

 

A human being may be considered a genius among his peers in the institutions dedicated to science, politics, sports or entertainment only to find upon making the transition to 'the Other Side' at the end of a physical incarnation that the 'reality' comprised of matters that had seemed consequential during earthly life was illusionary or actually 'insane' when once more existing with a frame of reference where nothing may be hidden, as transcendental communicators have been expressing in contemporary parlance through ancient times only for these wisdom traditions to be given such labels as 'esoteric,' 'New Age,' 'occult' or 'magical thinking.'

Throughout my life, the intellectual state of the human condition as reflected throughout American culture is vastly lacking the knowledge that comes from close attention to the documented case chronologies of metaphysically, spiritually, cosmologically and morally revelatory 'paranormal phenomena' and 'transcendental communication.'  (article)

People reveal themselves to be oblivious to the fact that the daily banal reality an individual is allowing to comprise one's activities isn't the only way of reacting to what otherwise can become comprehended as oneself being a focal point for an interactive and superconscious universe of unlimited opportunities for personal expansion of love, understanding and insights.

As an older person, I'll divulge and forewarn younger people that all entertainment allowed to enter one's consciousness among life activities will remain in your mind thereafter so the advice is to make careful decisions in life.  I still remember the infantile cartoons seen during my earliest years along with elements of all and even the most repugnant and dismaying movies viewed throughout the years until 1997 when I became a metaphysical author and concluded the pastime of engaging in narrative entertainment.  My mother and people who've been close to me have been noticeably unaware about how restricted is their knowledge base because of their reliance upon mainstream news media.

While writing this article, there was an interval when I mentioned some details about how the war in Ukraine originated only to be told not to bother because the facts were so different from what that person had learned from news sources (mainstream).

 

There is only one alternative for humanity to collectively avoid planetary environmental apocalypse due to international wars instigated through military agendas.  People of our world collectively must resume moral and humanitarian-minded international diplomacy.  Each person must devote oneself to helping achieve this goal; the alternative will be to learn upon making the transition to the ascended realm of life—in contemporary verbiage—rather than the corporate executives and government administrators Whose Was and Is truly 'the right ass to kiss,' which should have been recognized all along.

11/22/24 Update: Today it seemed revealing when I filled out paperwork for a new primary care physician at a suite of a local medical center.  There was a page of questions for responses indicating the severity from one to ten about such states of mind as boredom and suicidal thoughts.  Episodes of the black and white 1950s comedy TV series "I Love Lucy" was being shown on the large screen in the lobby of the medical group.  I remember watching daily reruns of the same show when I was growing up and the lack of intellectual progress for society was once again shockingly grasped.  One of the medical group assistants received some advice from me that wasn't only about the subject of this article.  There was also some of my usual explanations about how—as described in previous articles—Not only will your decisions made in reaction to the thoughts entering your mind from your 'Higher Self' in a state of spiritual Oneness determine aspects of your experiencing Earth life, the entirety of one's individual personality becomes the result of those feelings and decisions arising from the thoughts that one chooses to act upon.  (article)
